How we care Life coaching home visits We recruit and train volunteers to become Really Care Life Guides who, once trained, are matched with an older person to visit at home. The older person is encouraged to reconnect with whatever has been important to them in their lives and to share it with others and to gain a renewed sense of purpose. Together we can make a life changing difference to the wellbeing of older people in the local area. Sign up for support Community events We will be running a series of events to bring together older people and boost health and happiness across the community. These will be interaction events such as coffee mornings, chair yoga and activities to help older people become more active, get out more and make new friends. See upcoming events Let us be your voice It can be difficult as an older person to make yourself heard, especially at times when you most need the support of others. We can help. Our trained volunteer visitors can offer a supportive ear to listen to your concerns, and, if you would like them to, they can speak on your behalf. This can reduce feelings of isolation and strengthen you at times when you are feeling more vulnerable. One community initiative Working with the local community to bring their ideas to life, we work with people of all ages to help them develop and bring their ideas to life for the greater good of the community, be it a book club, coffee morning or maybe even a knitting group. We are here to help.
